Our Big Walk is the only of its kind hosted in the Garden Route 2. The BIG WALK coincides with National Disability Rights Awareness Month which is from 3 November to 3 December. 3 December is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, and is also celebrated as National Disability Rights Awareness Day. 3. The event is organised by the npo Binah and Legacy Centre (a centre for children with special needs) – both organisations initiated by parents of an autistic boy.
